How to Hide Excel with the ISERROR and IF Functions Error – Guide
If you’re using formulas in Excel, you may encounter error messages like #VALUE! or #DIV/0!. These usually indicate that the source of the error needs to be identified and corrected. However, sometimes these errors simply mean that the data used by the formula is not yet available - for instance, if you have a spreadsheet tracking monthly expenses.
Solution 1 / Formula
The IFERROR() function can be used to identify error values in formulas. To do this, modify the formula in each cell accordingly.
Solution 2 / Conditional Formatting
To ensure accuracy, select any cells that may contain an error value before changing the font color, as this will hide the error.
Head to the Conditional Formatting menu and check out New Rule for a quick fix.
To quickly format cells in a spreadsheet, use a formula to determine which ones to target. Simply type the function into the cell and it will automatically apply the desired formatting.
Click the Format button and make the font color white.
