How to make eSim to work on my new iPhone – Guide

Want to transfer your eSIM from one device to another? Struggling to find the instructions? You’re not alone! Here’s how to do it.

Upgrading iPhones is usually a breeze, but swapping eSIMs can be a hassle. Moving a traditional SIM card from one device to another is much simpler than transferring an eSIM.

Unfortunately, it is unclear whether or not an eSIM can be transferred between iPhones or reused, creating a challenge for those who use an eSIM as their primary phone number while also needing to keep a conventional SIM slot available.

When setting up a new device, you may be asked to transfer your cell plan. To do this with an eSIM, follow these steps.

Tap the numbers you want to transfer to your new iPhone, then hit Continue. You can still complete the plan transfer after setting up your device, even if you change your mind later.
