Guide: Setting-up Windows 11 Laptop/PC – Guide
Installing Windows 11 without an Internet connection is possible. This tutorial will provide several solutions to help you get the Home or Pro version of Windows 11 up and running on your computer, even if you don’t have access to the web.
How to set up Windows 11 Laptop/ PRAÇA
For those without an Internet or Wi-Fi connection, Windows 11 setup can be completed without one. Here’s how.
METHOD 1: End of OOBE Network Connection Flow EXE task
Press SHIFT + F10 to open the command prompt window at the top of the setup wizard.
Remember the SHIFT+F10 hotkey? It’s a hidden trick to launch Command Prompt as Administrator during Windows installation, allowing advanced users and experts to troubleshoot and recover their systems. We’ve used this method in the past, like in this tutorial.
Run the Task Manager by typing “taskmgr” into the command prompt window and pressing Enter. This will open the window in a condensed format.
Press the “More Details” button in Task Manager to open it in full view.
Investigate the “Processes” tab to locate the “Network Connection Flow” process.
To end the “Network Connection Flow” process, click on it and select the “End Task” button.
To end the task, open Task Manager and select the Details tab. Look for “oobenetworkconnectionflow.exe” to complete the process.
The Windows 11 setup wizard is progressing, indicated by a circular animation. To complete the process, close the Task Manager and Command Prompt windows.
METHOD 2: Using Ipconfig / Release Command
Press SHIFT + F10 to open the command prompt window at the top of the setup wizard.
Type the command “ipconfig /release” into the command prompt window and press Enter to execute it.
After closing the command prompt window, Windows 11 Setup will progress with a circle animation. This will bypass the Internet connection step and move on to creating and configuring a local user account to finish the installation.
METHOD 3: Press the ALT + F4 keys to close the Internet connection page
Users of Windows 11 may no longer be able to use a certain method, but they can still try pressing ALT + F4 together on the “Let’s connect you to a network” screen during setup.
If successful, this method will enable users to create a local user account by closing the Connection window and proceeding to the next step in Windows 11.
METHOD 4: Restart the device when you see the “Let’s connect it to a network” screen
Restarting your device when you see the “Let’s connect you to a network” screen will allow Windows 11 Setup to bypass the Internet connection step and move on to creating a local user account.
