If none of this works

If your phone remains frozen, blocked or unresponsive after attempting a force restart, you may have limited options left. However, one more solution is still available.

Connect your phone to a power source and leave it to charge for one to two hours uninterrupted.

Once the power is cut, observe if the device reactivates without assistance.

If a technical issue persists, a hard reset may be the solution.

Restart your iPhone from the Settings menu

If you need to reset your iPhone, you can do so without memorizing a button combination. Simply reboot from the Settings menu.

Users can access the Settings app by launching it on their device.

To turn off notifications, go to “General” in your settings and slide the slider to the “Off” position.

Slide the toggle to its maximum setting to power down your device.

Press the power button to restart the iPhone.
