How to Fix ‘Interactive Services Detection Error’ in Windows – Guide
Windows applications often present users with dialog boxes and pop-ups to interact with the computer. Fix an interactive service detection error on Windows
Windows Services
Press the Windows key and R simultaneously to open the Run window, then type services.msc and hit OK to access the Services Manager.
Disable interactive services on your computer by double-clicking the service, then selecting “Disabled” in the Startup Type field.
System setup
To resolve the issue, press the Windows key + R, type MSConfig and click OK to access system setup and adjust error settings.
To prevent Interactive Services Discovery from starting, go to System Setup, select the Services tab and uncheck the box. Click OK to save changes.
Restart your computer with a single click by closing all files and initiating an automatic restart.

Fixing an interactive service detection error is easy: press Windows key + R, type Regedit and click OK. Then, change the value of NoInteractiveServices in the registry.

Windows users can now prevent interactive services from running on their computers by accessing the registry key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows\NoInteractiveServices”.
To make changes to a registry setting, users can edit the registry key in the Windows Registry Editor.
To disable interactive services on Windows, double click on the NoInteractiveServices setting and change its value from 1 to 0.
Restart your computer to check for any changes.
