How to Enable/Disable the Maximize Button’s Snap Layouts Pop-up in Windows 11 – Guide

Microsoft’s Snap Assist feature, which allows users to divide their desktop into two or four parts by docking windows on the sides and corners of the screen, has been a hit since its introduction in Windows 7. Now, with Windows 11, Microsoft has improved the feature even further by allowing users to divide their screen into four symmetrical parts.

Windows 11 introduces a new utility, Snap Layout, that lets users view all open windows on their screen simultaneously. This feature has been around since Windows 7, but has been significantly improved in the latest version. To access it, press the Windows key + Z or hover over the maximize button.

Open the Settings app in Windows 11 by pressing the Windows key and I together.

The System option in the left vertical menu of the Settings app can be accessed for further customization.
