How to Find Zoom Recordings on Mac and PC

Zoom’s app interface is consistent across Mac and Windows PC, making it easy to use for all users.

Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to open Settings.

The recording location can be found by clicking the Recording button.

The Zoom folder can be accessed quickly and easily on both PC and Mac computers by simply clicking “Open”.

Double-clicking the folder icon with a date prefix, followed by the host name and Meeting ID, will open audio and video files.

The Documents folder is the default destination for recordings.

Windows users can find their Zoom documents in the “Documents” folder located in their username directory on the C: drive.

To alter the location of a file, click ‘Change’ or select from the drop-down list to pick a folder.

Enabling the ‘Choose a location to…’ option is the best way to ensure recordings are saved in project-related folders.

How to Edit zoom shots on Windows 10 PC

Editing local recordings is easy and secure. No need to upload them to third-party servers - they can be edited right on your PC.

Microsoft Photos’ Video Editor offers basic editing capabilities, such as cropping start and end points and splitting clips in half.

Editing with the software is a breeze, and it comes with a range of features like speed, text, filters and more to make the experience even better.

Editing a zoom image is easy with these steps: 1. Open the image in an editing program; 2. Adjust the brightness and contrast; 3. Crop the image to your desired size; 4. Sharpen the image for clarity; 5. Save your changes.

Step 2: To edit the video, click the three dots button at the top of the recording you want to edit and select “Edit”. This will open up a new window with editing options.

Choose Storyboard from the menu to begin.

Choose Trim: After making a selection, I opted to proceed with Trim.

Trim your video and adjust the start and end markers to your liking. You can also add text, motion, or filters for a unique touch.

Clicking the icons above will reveal options on the side of your screen.

You can customize your video by adding text at any point: simply add the text and drag the markers to where you want it.

Once you’ve finished making all the necessary adjustments to your video, click ‘Done’ to complete the process.

Adding a title card to your video can give it a more professional look, making it ideal for sharing.

To complete your video, click the Finish Video button in the far right corner, give it a name, and you’re done.

Microsoft Video Editor now offers users the option to select their desired video quality, with choices ranging from High (1080p) to Medium (720p) to Low (540p).

The original video will remain unchanged.

How to Edit Zoom shots on Mac

Mac users don’t need a professional video editor to get the job done. iMovie, with its user-friendly interface, is all that’s needed for basic editing tasks.

To create a new project in iMovie, tap the Plus icon at the top of the app.

To access Zoom recordings, users must manually import them and grant folder permissions.

Go to the folder containing the recordings to access them.

After importing the video, users will find a menu at the top with options for transitions, background and audio.

Movie editors can trim their footage by dragging the handles of the clip and removing any unnecessary parts.

Click the option above to add titles and text, selecting a style of your own. Once complete, place it in the timeline and adjust as necessary.

iMovie makes it easy to save and view videos, with no manual saving required. Simply click the Export button at the top of the program and select your desired option.
