1. First you need to find the location of your .pst file.

Users can now open Microsoft Outlook in Safe Mode by downloading Patch 2. This update allows users to access the program without any third-party add-ons, ensuring a secure and stable experience.

Head to the File menu for your next step.

To access your account settings, click the link on the right.

Click the Account Settings option from the drop-down menu.

The Data Files tab reveals the location of the data file.

Accounts must be stored in a secure location.

5. Paste the location of the data file noted in Step 1 into the text box below Enter the name of the file you want to scan.

6. Click Start.

7. If there is an error, you will have the option to Fix it.

8. When the repair is complete, restart Outlook to see if it is still crashing when you open it.
