Verify your screenshots are visible in the default folder on your computer by taking them.

Update keyboard driver

If your PC’s screenshot function isn’t working, it may be due to a faulty or incompatible keyboard driver. To fix the issue, update your keyboard driver and check if the problem is resolved.

The Windows key + X shortcut opens the Quick access menu, from which Device Manager can be selected.

Access your PC’s keyboard driver by selecting the Keyboard drop-down menu.

Right-click the keyboard driver and select ‘Update driver’ to complete the process.

Choose “Search automatically for updated driver software” from the menu.

Device Manager can search your computer and the web for an updated keyboard driver, which could take a few seconds or minutes depending on your internet speed.

If your keyboard driver is out of date, install the update. If it’s up to date and you’re still unable to take screenshots, try another solution.

Update Windows OS

If you’re having trouble taking screenshots on your computer, make sure your Windows operating system is up-to-date. To do this, go to Windows Settings> Update & Security> Windows Update> Check for Updates. Updating the OS may help resolve the issue.
